Fall Out Boy, Metro Station, and Cobra Starship – Ride Home Show!

Last Friday marked the first of the outdoor concert series at White River Garden's here in Indianapolis. It was launched with a big rocking monster of a show that brought parents and teens from all over out into the rain. Brian and Ben report.

I have been working on some new magic the last few weeks - so there is no show this week. Keep an eye out for some updates soon. If I get some spare time I will try to post a mix this coming week, I have a lot of good stuff sitting around that I keep meaning to play.

All I've got is a postcard, and a handful of souvenirs

The title of my blog today is a line from "Wrote It Down", its the second track on the second record that my (now defunct) band Paging Raymond.

Its loose rock and roll song with some achingly beautiful lyrics, penned by my co-frontman and co-founder of the band Aaron Adelsperger. That track served as the announcement to our fans that we had plugged in, and was a real testament to the level of songwriting we had gotten to since our previous, mainly acoustic effort Please. The Blue Nile

The Blue Nile. They are stuck in the genre of what I'm sure 92.3 WTTS likes to call "Adult Alternative."

Their more current work is very just that...or somewhat. And don't get me wrong...I totally love my Simply Red and Sting, but I'm more fond of their earlier work, specifically their album "A Walk Across Rooftops."

This isn't a review, just a ramble. No one I know listens to this band, cares about this band, or really even likes their music, but whatever, a "blog" is for "blogging" and I gue… Continue
